I was born in Schenectady, New York and have three beautiful sons that has inspired me to writing this book.
I never realized the journey I would be on when I had my children diagnose with ADHD and Asperger.
There are many books about Asperger’s Syndrome and Autism. Many of the books I have read teach parents about symptoms and go into detail about the disability.
My book will focus on several important issues such as temperament, sensory, social skills, evaluation, IEP, strategies, and transition services.
I understand the concerns; frustrations and the overwhelming feelings parents have in finding resources for their children. This is a journey you will be on from the day they are diagnosed until they reach adulthood.
As a parent you want your child to excel in school and in life, so I understand the concerns, frustrations and overwhelming feelings you have in finding resources, and getting the support services in school for your ADHD and Autism child.
I never view my children diagnose as a disability but the wonderful gift that God has provided me.
