Shawn Pearson
Shawn Marie Pearson defied the odds and broke the cycles of generational poverty. Born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana, Shawn journeyed through her young adult years with multiple unhealed childhood traumas, including teenage pregnancy and the loss of her mother at age 18. Shawn has gone from surviving to thriving in life. She is now a wife, mother, grandmother, entrepreneur, motivational speaker, and author. Her heart for helping others led her to establish a nonprofit organization, Zion Institute, to help others break cycles of generational poverty.
